How this publication handles technical information and optional audience measurement.

What this site collects
The Dry Glass does not offer accounts, comments, a newsletter form, or a checkout. Like most websites, the server and its security systems may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser request, page requested, and time of access to deliver and protect the site. This operational processing is separate from optional analytics.
Optional Google Analytics
Only if you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures visits, pages viewed, referrers and technical browser/device information to help us improve our guides. Google receives this information and may process it on servers outside your country. We do not load its tag or send analytics requests before acceptance or after a refusal. We do not enable advertising personalization, Google signals or user IDs. Our page-view configuration removes query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs. Do not put personal information in URLs or planner inputs.
Consent is the basis for this optional measurement. Analytics is not required to read the site or use the planner. Google may set first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies; our configuration limits their lifetime to 180 days without extending it on each visit. The browser remembers your acceptance or refusal in local storage for up to 180 days. That preference is used to respect your choice, not to track you. If storage is unavailable, a choice may be requested again.
Use Privacy choices in the footer to change or withdraw consent. Choosing Decline analytics disables measurement, clears this site's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page if the tag had loaded. Withdrawal does not delete data already processed. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by keeping analytics off. Blocking analytics does not remove hosting security logs.
Google controls its service processing and safeguards; consult Google's privacy and Analytics documentation for its practices. Cookie expiry is not a promise that all provider-held data is deleted on that date. We do not sell analytics information, share it for personalized advertising or use it to identify individual readers.
The Serve Planner and connected AI tools
The Serve Planner on this website calculates quantities in your browser. That page does not send your recipe choices or numbers to our calculation service, and it does not automatically save a shopping history. Copying or printing a plan happens only when you choose it.
When a connected AI tool calls our separate MCP calculation service, it submits recipe identifiers, drink counts and any ingredient-stock or package volumes you provide. The service processes those arguments to return the calculation; it does not create an account or a saved plan. Our application does not log request bodies or credentials. Do not include personal, medical or financial information: the calculator does not need it.
Your AI provider may process your conversation and tool use under its own policies. Hostinger may process technical access and security records to operate the hosting. This publication does not control those providers’ retention rules and does not promise that their technical logs are absent.
Amazon purchase links
Some articles contain clearly labeled paid links to Amazon US. We do not load Amazon advertising scripts or pixels on these pages. Following a link takes you to Amazon with our tracking ID; Amazon may process your visit and purchases under its own policies. Declining our optional analytics does not change Amazon's practices after you leave this site. The Dry Glass does not receive your Amazon payment details or handle your order.
Other third parties
The site does not embed advertising, third-party video or social widgets. Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools report search visibility; their verification records do not install visitor-tracking code on this site. Hostinger operates the hosting and may process technical records under its own retention practices.
If you write to patrick@thedryglass.com, the information in your message is used to respond and manage the correspondence, not for unrelated marketing. We keep it while needed for the exchange or an applicable obligation.
Choices and requests
Write to patrick@thedryglass.com to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where applicable. You may withdraw analytics consent using the footer. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority, including the CNIL in France. This policy describes our implementation; it is not a guarantee about every provider's practices and will be updated when our tools change.
